Today, there are new inventions and new devices that have broken the old ways of doing things. Thus, the disadvantages of the Industrial Revolution should not be considered as final. Instead, it should be seen as a stepping stone for the betterment of mankind. All people should understand that there is a bright future for humanity if they properly embrace the opportunities presented by the great modern invention such as the electric motor, the telephone and the solar power.

In addition, the disadvantages brought about by modern inventions and machines can also be considered blessings. The steam engine and the electric motor both made life much easier for people. However, there are still some disadvantages of modern technology that could have been prevented if people had only known how to use the devices properly. Their use as such can certainly do no harm, because the invention of the phone did introduce people to the concept of long distance communication. However, ignoring the advantages and disadvantages of technological things is not advisable because new things always bring with them new and greater disadvantages. In the case of the cell phone, you can easily forget that it is a technological item because it does a lot more than just make calls and send text messages.
